Shark-back cane-doesn't bite for sale in Conifer, New York

Cane/ Walking Stick made out of a shark's backbone...around 200 y/o! This cane was once used by my great-grandfather as he ran a sorgum mill during the Civil War [in Virginia!]. He actually met Gen Lee when he fell in and got stuck in the mill pond...according to Mrs. Rita White, family historian/ great aunt, Gen Lee said, "Grab a holt of my horses tail and I'll pull you out". Which was exactly what my great Grandad did and was saved by the great general and leader of men. You yankees can also bid on this fine stick...I've seen other shark canes and they use more filler-wood near the handle and thru-out the shaft--this one has a more refined look to it with its' all shark, all the time* appearence. Perfect for the polo/mint julip set and people who just like saying, 'Damn Yankees'. 34 1/2" tall wt: @3 lbs. [very light]
*more accurately--almost all shark, almost all the time
